28 Tue 7-10pm Kenny Wenzel Jazz Quartet featuring Kenny Wenzel  (trombone/flute) at Martinis, 50 Court St, Plymouth, MA. Kenny Wenzel & Friends perform every Tuesday night at Martini’s Bar & Grill. Musicians who routinely play with the likes of Tony Bennett and other jazz greats are now driving to America’s Hometown every Tuesday to play with the great Wenzel.
28 Tue 7-11pm Black Sheep Dixieland jazz ensemble Fat Tuesday/Mardi Gras at Epicure wine bar/Jazz club, 320 West Center Street, West Bridgewater, MA 02379 Beads, masks and other Mardi Gras swag will be available to help us celebrate! We will have a parade showcasing masks and beads. Prizes for best mask based on crowd response.

Soggy ‘Po Boys bring By-The-Riverside Mardi Gras to The Mayflower Restaurant, 11 Depot Square, Ipswich, MA. 978-356-9884  The music is free to all restaurant patrons but first choice table reservations must be purchased online. (Patrons also must pay $15 minimum food and drink) Those seated at a reservation table will receive an on-the-house slice of the Mardi Gras king cake, throw (beads) and may be crowned King or Queen of the Mardi Gras.

And of course, no Mardi Gras celebration would be complete without bead necklaces. It’s Fat Tuesday!
