MILFORD CHORUS SINGS "A WORLD OF HOLIDAY CHEER"
December 3-5, 2011

The Greater Milford Community Chorus has chosen "A World of Holiday
Cheer" to describe their upcoming holiday concert. Three
performances will be held: Friday, December 2, and Saturday,
December 3, at 8 p.m.; and Sunday, December 4, at 1:30 p.m.
(preceding the Milford Firefighters' Parade), at the Memorial Hall
Cultural Center, 30 School St., Milford. Raffles and refreshments
will be available. The building is handicapped accessible at the
side entrance.
This season the chorus has grown to more than forty singers, and
includes members from thirteen area communities. Dan Zabinski of
Uxbridge is the conductor. He is accompanied by Wayne Ward of
Holliston on the piano.

As the title indicates, the concert will celebrate holidays around
the world. Musical numbers will include Christmas, Chanukah, Kwanza
and winter songs. The program features carols in German and Spanish;
a Hawaiian Christmas greeting; popular holiday and novelty tunes;
the "Hallelujah Chorus", and an audience sing-a-long.
Tickets are $5.00 for everyone over the age of 12; children twelve
and under are free. Tickets will be available at Dudley's Music,
157 East Main St., and the Music & Arts Center (formerly The Music
Nook), 184 Main St., both in Milford. Tickets will also be sold at
the door before each performance.
The Greater Milford Community Chorus is sponsored by the Milford
Community Use Program, and the Milford Cultural Council, which is
funded in part by the Massachusetts Cultural Council.
